Someone Out There Catherine Hunt Books
When successful divorce lawyer Laura Maxwell suffers a couple of strange, seemingly unconnected accidents she starts to believe that someone is out to kill her. Who could it be? She is a success at her job and is bound to have ruffled more than a few feathers there over the years, but enough for someone to try and kill her? There are a number of suspects in this page turner of a tense psychological thriller which I found quite hard to put down.I was thoroughly enjoying this book and had it pegged as a solid four star read until about two thirds of the way through when I hit the “OMG moment” which ramped it all the way up to five stars. I love it when you get a good jaw dropping moment that opens up a whole avenue of possibilities that you had never even considered before.
I really liked Laura. She is successful, shows integrity and compassion. She is just an all round nice person who I could really get behind. I desperately wanted to know more about her and what was going to happen to her.
This is a book stuffed with tension, drama, betrayals, obsession and revenge which moves at a really good pace. Despite the darkness of the story, it is extremely easy to read with the words just jumping off the page at you. I found it so hard to put down, the kindle went everywhere with me – and I really do mean “everywhere”. Thanks to the publisher for the review copy.

Someone Out There Catherine Hunt Books Reviews
This was book a very enjoyable read. It has drama, romance, deception and a psychopath. The story is very interesting, hire a divorce to stick it to your husband so that you can have hers. Sounds sick doesn't it? Well it is, but it makes for a good read. The author puts in just enough twist and turns to keep you guessing. Nice page turner.
I read three books a week. I'm gleefully retired (not cause I'm old....I won the lotto) and I do two things I promised myself. I do NOT wake to an alarm and I read to my hearts content. My choices are usually DeMille, Silva, Baldacci but I took a flyer on this. It truly was great and couldn't put it down. Amazing twist I never saw coming. Genuinely well written...heckuva story...brilliant first book. Bravo
I was extremely surprised at how good this book is. It was not expensive but I enjoyed it about as much as any book I've paid lots for. There is no dull spots in this story. Action from beginning to end. I was sorry to see it end. There aren't too many books that have kept my interest so thoroughly. Will look for more from this author.
I Chose this rating related because of all its great plot.
It has many twist and turns I could barely contain myself.
I wanted to read so fast just to get to the next page.
But I forced myself to slow down so I would not miss one single detail.
The characters we well developed and they all were needed to bring the story to it's surprising and great conclusion.
Who wants a divorced lawyer to come out ahead? Divorce lawyers are suppose to be tough and eat nails for breakfast. This one is really wimpy. Almost afraid of her own shadow. With all her training and court room battles, why does she have trouble seeing the nose on her face? Not the worse book I read, but it was sometimes a little irritating.
The protagonist is a very successful solicitor specializing in divorce law with many opportunities to make enemies of very distraught people. Has she made one too many? Someone may be stalking her. The novel is well thought out, but does not quite deliver the edge of the chair tension it promises . It also gives up the big secret too early. On the other hand, the heroine is likeable, talented and easy to root for. The author also very skillfully describes the nature of obsession. Overall, this is a book worth your time reading.
All in all, I can say I pretty liked it. Though I need to confess I bought it because of the promising slogan on the bookcover that if I like the Girl on the Train, I will enjoy this too. Well, there is nothing to compare with the Girl. Yes, it is suspensful, but right down to the outbreak of the story one can guess who is who. This is what it lacks, mystery, unexpected twists, gripping secrets that would keep you guessing, searching for answers.
But anyway I read it quite quickly, as it reads easily and truly well written.
