What an amazing author!I felt like I was in the midst of the story myself when Aiden came into the house to give the news to Bess and her mother-in-law Mattie. And Kelly Irvin did a wonderful job at showing how different people deal with bad news. . . and how difficult it can be for those who take longer to get over it
Bess and Aiden take longer than everyone to deal with their grief. . . Bess can’t see beyond her loss, and Aiden can’t seem to forgive himself for his part in his best friend’s tragic death. Will they ever look toward the future and leave the past behind?
This series promises a wonderful look at the different seasons of life. Grab a copy of this first story and don’t forget to have plenty of tissues on hand.
Kelly Irvin has written an awesome story! I enjoyed it so much, I couldn’t wait to write the review and pick up the next book in the series to continue reading.

Upon a Spring Breeze An Every Amish Season Novel Book 1 edition by Kelly Irvin Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
I enjoyed this book very much. I am better for having read it. If you are going through trials this book will bring you hope. I recommend reading it.
I enjoyed the story of angst and patient growth of Bess. She struggles to cope with her loss, finding her way to recover. I recommend this book. It is well worth the time to read.
Kelly has wrote another great book. I couldn't put this down. I wish it hadn't ended. I anxiously await the 2nd book in this series. I recommend this for a great read.
Gets your attention right from the start. It was hard to put down.
Great story of love lost and love gained as one waited for God's timing. We can see how we create our own problems by not trusting in God and going our own way. It can be a intentional or unintentional, as demonstrated in this book.
Am reading now-not as interesting as I thought it might be.
One minute she's married and expecting, the next she's a widow with no concept of who she is or what she is supposed to do. While Bess tries to cling to her faith and upbringing, she had no idea reality would be so hard. She struggles with all her relationships. Her mother-in-law's scrutiny is probably the hardest to bear.
What an amazing author!
